This is the most complete filmography of Lam Ching-Ying's work available in English language to my knowledge. However, that doesn't mean that it lists even half of his work in film. While most of his major acting roles are listed here, much of his behind the camera work hasn't been tracked down and added to the database yet. Also, there are likely dozens of films from his time as a stunt actor at Shaw Brothers and Golden Harvest not listed here; just how many is almost impossible to guess. I'm working on it, and always looking for new appearances. If you know of some of his work that you don't see listed here, please contact me () and let me know.

Note: The Film Listing has several films listed more than once under alternate titles. So clicking on The Big Boss will bring up the same listing as clicking on Fists Of Fury, as an example. This isn't an issue with the Chronological or Chinese Language listings, but I wanted to point it out to avoid potential confusion.

Reviews here are all for films viewed, not reviews based on other sources. The reviews tend to be very subjective, and I'm also using guest reviews, so profiles of the reviewers are available for you. Hopefully that will allow you to help decide which reviews are more likely to coincide with your own opinions and tastes. Please feel free to contact me if you'd like to participate, but please remember to avoid discussing plot details when reviewing the movies. If there is a demand, I'd consider adding pop-up plot descriptions.

I find it's much easier to evaluate reviews if I know a little something about the reviewer. At least some of their taste in movies and entertainment, just to see where our tastes coincide, and where they differ. With that in mind, it seemed like a good idea to add a small profile on each reviewer. The profiles, and the info contained in each, is determined by the individual reviewers, which may also help.
